About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Professional Services Engineer to deliver advanced security solutions that address our clients' evolving cybersecurity needs. This role involves planning, implementing, and supporting various cybersecurity technologies while working closely with clients to ensure their infrastructure is optimally protected.

Responsibilities

  • Implement robust cybersecurity solutions to protect client environments.
  • Deploy, configure, and manage security tools, including IDS/IPS, anti-virus, EDR, IAM, and SIEM systems.
  • Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify risks and recommend remediation.
  • Assist clients in responding to security incidents, managing containment, eradication, and recovery efforts.
  • Provide technical guidance and lead knowledge-sharing sessions on cybersecurity best practices and solutions.
  • Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats, technologies, and industry trends.
  • Reconfigure firewalls, routers, and switches to isolate infected systems, and configure VLANs or other segmentation strategies to contain breaches.
  • Maintain strong communication skills for effective client engagement, technical documentation, and presentations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or a related role.
  • Proven expertise in implementing and managing cybersecurity solutions across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments.
  • Hands-on experience with installing, configuring, and operating Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW).
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, TLS, DNS, HTTP), encryption technologies, and secure access control methods.
  • Experience in incident response, including threat analysis, forensics, and remediation.
  • Familiarity with security standards and compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
  • Knowledge of data recovery techniques, including restoring from backups, validating data integrity, and preventing reinfection through restored files.
  • Experience with virtual environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) for isolating and recovering affected virtual machines.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native backup, recovery, and mitigation tools (e.g., AWS Backup, Azure Site Recovery).
  • Willingness to travel extensively to client sites as needed.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficiency in automation and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, PHP, Bash) for security automation tasks.
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture and its implementation.
  • Experience with network segmentation, secure VPN configurations, and multifactor authentication (MFA).
  • Expertise in deploying and managing cybersecurity solutions for IoT environments.
  • Understanding of reverse and forward proxies and their applications.
  • Knowledge of network transformation technologies (MPLS, SD-WAN, WAN optimization).
  • Windows & Linux server system administration skills.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
  • GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC)
  • Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
