About the position

Apex Systems is seeking a Cybersecurity Program Analyst with expertise in Department of Defense (DoD) programs, budget analysis, and stakeholder management to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing DoD programs and processes, particularly in the realm of budget analysis. The role requires analytical skills to interpret and analyze budget data effectively, ensuring that all financial aspects of cybersecurity programs are managed efficiently. The Cybersecurity Program Analyst will be responsible for maintaining stakeholder relationships, which is crucial for the successful execution of various projects and initiatives within the organization. In this role, the analyst will be expected to manage multiple workstreams collaboratively, demonstrating the ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure. Strong communication skills are essential, as the analyst will need to convey complex information clearly to various stakeholders. The position requires an active Top Secret SCI clearance, reflecting the sensitive nature of the work involved. A bachelor's degree is also a prerequisite for this role, ensuring that candidates have a foundational understanding of the principles and practices relevant to cybersecurity and budget management. Additional qualifications that will enhance a candidate's application include experience in enterprise-level budget planning and justification, proficiency in the DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) processes, and a solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and programs. Familiarity with the DoD acquisition system and issue paper processes for funding justifications will also be beneficial.
