About the position

The Cybersecurity Program Management Consultant at Guidehouse will support the client's Program Management Office (PMO) in modernizing their Cybersecurity program. This role involves coordinating with various divisions, overseeing cybersecurity investments, and advising senior leadership on IT investments and cybersecurity initiatives. The consultant will also assist in developing executive-level presentations and facilitate program management review sessions.

Responsibilities

  • Support the client's Program Management Office (PMO) focused on modernizing their Cybersecurity program.
  • Coordinate with project-implementing divisions and provide oversight of cybersecurity investments to leadership.
  • Advise the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Chief Information Officer (CIO) on IT investments.
  • Provide recommendations on Cybersecurity initiatives including Executive Order compliance and incident response.
  • Develop briefing materials and executive-level presentations for project status briefings.
  • Facilitate, prepare, and execute bi-weekly Program Management Review (PMR) sessions with executive leadership.
  • Provide input for monthly performance dashboards.

Requirements

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TOP SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree; OR FOUR (4) years' experience related to Cybersecurity or Project/Program Management or Communications or IT Security and/or Technology Consultant.
  • EIGHT (8) or more years' experience related to Cybersecurity or Project/Program Management or Communications or IT Security and/or Technology Consultant.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's Degree
  • Experience working within a PMO team and leading multiple workstreams.
  • Understanding of the NIST Risk Management Framework and/or the Authorization to Operate (ATO) process.
  • Excellent presentation development and communication skills utilizing Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Department of Justice experience a plus.
  • PMP or similar certification.
