About the position

The Cybersecurity Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing cloud solutions for the VA, focusing on maintaining customer relationships, guiding complex technical projects, and ensuring timely software delivery. The position requires strong communication skills, a problem-solving mentality, and the ability to navigate various organizational structures to build relationships with stakeholders. The role is remote, allowing flexibility in work location while contributing to the mission of supporting Veterans.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ongoing customer relationships and networking.
• Manage and guide complex technical projects to completion.
• Identify and implement success programs.
• Work with a team of technical and functional experts to meet software delivery timelines and requirements.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders including executives, technical resources, team members, and VA employees.
• Own communication for material project updates and escalations.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience as a trusted advisor.
• Organize competing priorities and tasks along with complex project requirements.
• Coordinate cross-functional group activities and track dependencies.
• Drive teams to meet schedules and goals.
• Look for ways to improve the customer experience.
• Guide technical discussions with stakeholders of varying knowledge levels.
• Navigate customer, vendor, and federal organizational structures to build relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 10 years of work experience, or 18 years total experience without a degree, or 14 years with an AA.
• Experience with customer service, schedule coordination, and project management.
• Effective communication skills and strong organizational skills.
• Willingness to hustle and accomplish a high volume of work.
• Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a government clearance.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in cybersecurity or IT consulting.
• Familiarity with SaaS applications and cloud solutions.
• Ability to learn and understand technical processes quickly.
