About the position

The Cybersecurity Project Manager at Attractivate Consulting Solutions is responsible for leading and managing cybersecurity projects from initiation to completion. This role involves ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while coordinating with cross-functional teams to achieve successful project execution. The position requires a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and compliance with relevant security standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage cybersecurity projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Develop and implement project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, compliance, and business units, to ensure successful project execution.
• Identify and assess security risks, and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
• Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.
• Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Manage project documentation, including project plans, risk assessments, and progress reports.
• Oversee the implementation of security measures, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption technologies.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to continuously improve security posture.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Project Manager or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies.
• Experience with security standards and regulations: ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR.
• Proficiency with project management tools: Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Nice-to-haves

• Certifications such as PMP, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Knowledge of security tools and technologies: firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption.
