About the position

The Business Systems Analyst (Security) role focuses on managing cybersecurity projects, particularly in areas such as Vulnerability Management, Business Resilience, and Applications Security. The position requires collaboration with various business units and technical leads to ensure operational excellence and the successful implementation of technology solutions that meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Work with business units to understand overall business success criteria and scale requirements for operational excellence.
• Partner with Technical Leads to provide detailed insight into business requirements to enable key processes and capabilities through technology solutions.
• Identify overall business needs and work through exception management use cases.
• Run meetings and forums engaging the right resources to drive/deliver technology and business strategy.
• Identify and gain understanding of business processes with cross-functional dependencies.
• Track and drive task items to closure and escalate as required.
• Partner with multiple stakeholders and influence project decisions.
• Build effective and productive relationships with clients and internal teams.
• Support technology architecture design review efforts.

Requirements

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of total experience with at least 7 years of related experience.
• Strong technical background with an understanding of enterprise applications landscape, including SAP and Non-SAP applications.
• Familiarity with process improvement and project management practices.
• Ability to handle multiple projects with competing priorities.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with project tracking tools like Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, or JIRA.
• Experience with Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
• Certifications such as InfoSec Security+, Certified in CyberSecurity, SSCP, or CISSP.
• Experience in driving/managing Information Security projects in Vulnerability Management, Disaster Recovery, Applications Security, and DevSecOps.
