About the position

This internship offers an opportunity to support the development of a Cybersecurity Risk Register and participate in risk assessments, focusing on analyzing cybersecurity risks and understanding federal cybersecurity control frameworks. Interns will gain hands-on experience in risk analysis, threat modeling, and supporting various cybersecurity initiatives while working in a flexible environment that may include remote or hybrid options.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of a Cybersecurity Risk Register.
• Participate in risk assessments and perform risk analysis.
• Conduct threat modeling and support other Cybersecurity initiatives.
• Analyze cybersecurity risk in typical enterprise systems.
• Demonstrate knowledge concerning federal cybersecurity control frameworks.

Requirements

• Undergraduate or Graduate student enrolled full time at an accredited college/university studying Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Risk Management, or a closely related field.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. (including CPT and OPT).
