About the position

The Cybersecurity Risk Analyst, Mid role at Booz Allen involves working with Navy programs to identify and mitigate cyber risks. The analyst will collaborate with engineers and subject matter experts to assess threats and communicate security concepts effectively to clients, ensuring the protection of mission-critical networks and systems.

Responsibilities

• Support Navy Risk Management Framework (RMF) execution and compliance testing.
• Assess cyber risks and develop mitigation plans for Navy programs.
• Collaborate with engineers and SMEs to gather technical and environmental details.
• Translate security concepts for clients to aid in decision-making.
• Create presentations, whitepapers, and milestones for client deliverables.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience supporting Navy RMF execution and compliance testing.
• Experience with cybersecurity compliance tools like ACAS and STIGs.
• Knowledge of automation technologies such as Evaluate-STIG and Ansible.
• Familiarity with cloud-based software, virtualization, and IT security technologies.
• Ability to integrate risk assessment and threat mapping tools.
• Secret clearance and a high school diploma or GED.
