About the position

The Cybersecurity Risk Lead position at Koniag Government Services (KGS) is a remote role focused on supporting the Risk Management Framework (RMF) for the USDA. The role requires a strong understanding of cybersecurity compliance and the ability to analyze data within the NIST Framework. The candidate will work closely with the DAITO team to develop documentation, provide recommendations for tools, and support ongoing knowledge transfer to enhance customer support.

Responsibilities

• Developing guides to assist with validating a control within a system (applicable, hybrid)
• Developing documentation for the DAITO team for each control family
• Providing recommendations on specific tools that will enhance their offering to their customers
• Creating a common language guide as a quick reference for annual reviews
• Supporting POA&M Management
• Consulting with the DAITO team to provide strong customer support through ongoing knowledge transfer of RMF processes and policies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field; or equivalent experience
• Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF)
• 2-4 years of experience directly supporting a large corporation/agency or military branch
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust

Nice-to-haves

• Working knowledge of CSAM
• Understanding of Risk Management Framework at USDA
