About the position

The Senior Consultant in Cybersecurity - Operational Technology at EY is responsible for leading multiple client engagements, focusing on OT cybersecurity and network security. This role involves assessing, designing, and implementing security solutions tailored to clients' operational environments, while also driving business development and service delivery. The consultant will leverage technical and business skills to address complex cybersecurity challenges and contribute to the overall mission of enhancing cybersecurity on a global scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects or elements of multiple client engagements including service delivery and business development.
• Guide the development of strategic and tactical security architecture efforts.
• Design and drive implementations to completion as a technical security leader.
• Document reference architectures, network schematics, blueprints, and other architectural documentation.
• Deliver quality client services by driving high-quality work products within expected timeframes and budgets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and approximately three years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately two years of related work experience; or no degree and six or more years of related work experience.
• Operational industry experience in the field/plant.
• Working knowledge of NIST CSF and its application in OT environments.
• Experience performing OT Cybersecurity assessments utilizing industry accepted standards.
• Firewall review experience and knowledge of industrial-centric protocols.
• General network security experience and working knowledge of whitelisting, AV, IDS/IPS, firewalls, SIEM, etc.
• Experience in process definition, workflow design, and/or process mapping.
• A valid driver's license in the US and a valid passport; willingness to travel internationally, estimated travel is 60-80%.

Nice-to-haves

• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GICSP).
• Program management experience.
• Intimate knowledge of a relevant OT Cyber Framework such as NIST 800-82 or ISA62443.
