About the position

Guidehouse is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant to support the federal cybersecurity program by providing insights and metrics regarding the agency's cybersecurity services. The role involves analyzing large data sets, developing customized reporting, and leveraging automation tools to enhance data accuracy and integrity. The consultant will also identify efficiency gaps and propose AI and automation solutions to improve processes and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics based on government requirements.
  • Leveraging automation tools and techniques to clean and validate data, rectifying data quality and integrity issues across multiple large data sets.
  • Developing monthly, quarterly, and annual metrics and visualizations.
  • Meeting weekly with clients to review data efforts and goals, collecting new requirements to enhance existing reporting or develop new lines of reporting.
  • Responding to ad hoc requests for information, metrics, and reporting, utilizing available data sources.
  • Identifying process gaps and offering AI and automation solutions to improve internal tasks and reporting efficiency.

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust clearance.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Three or more years' experience related to Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, SharePoint, Power BI, Data Analysis/Management, or Technology Consulting.

Nice-to-haves

  • Professional certifications related to data science, dashboarding, visualization tools/capabilities, and cloud platforms.
  • Experience supporting Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security (CISA) programs or initiatives.
  • Strong management skills overseeing team members and client deliverables.
  • Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (mostly Power BI) and data analysis tools, with understanding in languages such as Python, R, SQL, Anaconda, Jupyter Notebook.
  • Experience working with project management tools.
  • Experience implementing AI and automation solutions, leveraging tools such as Power Automate (Microsoft Flow).
  • Experience with machine learning techniques, predictive modeling, and statistical analysis.
  • Ability to collect, clean, and analyze large volumes of data from various sources.
