The Cybersecurity Senior Engineer - Identity and Access Management (IAM) at Truist is responsible for developing and maintaining the technical IT and cybersecurity capabilities necessary for safeguarding the firm's information systems and applications. This role involves overseeing all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and implementing cybersecurity technology projects to enhance the organization's security posture.

  • Develop and maintain technical IT/cyber capabilities including all phases of the software development lifecycle and software stack.
  • Lead efforts to troubleshoot, identify, and resolve technical identity and access management related issues.
  • Analyze information to recommend and plan the use of new information security technologies or modifications to existing systems.
  • Lead the implementation of new information security technologies including initial configuration, installation, change management, and operational handoff.
  • Provide expert problem analysis and resolution for information security technologies in a timely manner.
  • Lead teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and complexity.
  • Bachelor's degree and eight years of experience in systems engineering or administration or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Deep specialized and/or broad functional knowledge in applied enterprise information security technologies including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, identity management, and encryption.
  • Previous experience in leading complex IT projects.
  • Master's degree or MBA and eight years of demonstrated progressive experience in Cybersecurity.
  • Certification in Information Security Management (e.g. CISSP, CRISC, CISM).
  • Extensive hands-on knowledge of identity and access management best practices and software solutions such as Oracle Identity Governance, SailPoint, Saviynt.
  • Understanding of Connector bundles functionality, SOD Module and Role Mining.
  • Ability to understand audit requirements and produce evidence/reports.
  • Strong working knowledge of cybersecurity terms, concepts, and industry/regulatory requirements.
  • Prior experience of upgrading or migrating IGA platform.
  • Ability to write Linux/Powershell scripts to automate activities.
