About the position

The Cybersecurity Software Sales Director will play a pivotal role in expanding the US market for a fast-growing cybersecurity startup founded by veterans from elite intelligence forces. This position requires a dynamic self-starter who can effectively engage with leading Security VARs/System Integrators and large enterprises. The Sales Director will be responsible for managing relationships with these key partners and collaborating closely with various teams based at headquarters to ensure timely delivery of services and high levels of customer satisfaction. In this role, the Sales Director will not only need to have a strong presence in the field but also provide leadership and management to the sales team in the Northeast region. This includes driving revenue growth in both the enterprise and channel spaces through strategic planning, management, and execution of sales initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in enterprise security software sales, with a minimum of five years of experience in the field. The Sales Director will be tasked with targeting and developing Fortune 500 enterprise accounts and named security VARs/SIs in the region. This involves recruiting, motivating, and maintaining an effective sales team, as well as managing relationships at all levels within customer organizations and partner networks. The role also includes conducting solution presentations, forecasting opportunities, and collaborating with team members to ensure successful execution of closed deals, ultimately leading to customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Open up the US market by focusing on and winning business with leading Security VARs/System Integrators and large enterprises.
  • Manage relationships with key partners and ensure customer satisfaction through collaboration with HQ teams.
  • Provide leadership and management to the sales team in the Northeast region.
  • Drive revenue growth in the enterprise and channel space through effective planning and execution of sales initiatives.
  • Target and develop Fortune 500 enterprise accounts and named security VARs/SIs in the region.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise security software sales.
  • Familiarity with cloud security and networking technologies.
  • Understanding of customer requirements and processes for storage solutions.
  • Ability to drive deals from prospecting and pipeline development to closing.
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and writing skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently from a home office.
  • Extensive travel required.
  • Capable of solving critical issues in a timely manner.
  • Ability to foster long-term relationships and develop champions within client organizations.
