About the position

The Cybersecurity Solutions Consultant at OpenText is responsible for securing technical wins and enabling partners for success in the cybersecurity domain. This role involves collaborating closely with sales teams to communicate the value of OpenText's cybersecurity products and solutions to strategic accounts. The consultant will conduct technical demonstrations, manage RFP and RFI processes, and assist in building proof of concepts, all while ensuring that customer requirements are met and exceeded. The position is remote with some travel to customer sites and events.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Account Executives to communicate and sell the value of OpenText's products and solutions to strategic accounts.
• Develop and conduct technical demonstrations specific to customer requirements.
• Respond to and manage the RFP and RFI process.
• Build and deliver proof of concepts.
• Assist Account Executives in relationship management and technical sales information/tools development.
• Interact with Sales, Global Services, and Partners to create and finalize solution offerings and initial project delivery plans.
• Represent OpenText at trade shows and industry events.

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in a presales technical role.
• Expertise in IT data and the cyber threat landscape.
• Active Directory, Email Administration, DNS, SMTP knowledge.
• Understanding of network technologies, topologies, protocols, and administration.
• Knowledge of encryption and data security techniques.
• Experience with threat intelligence, detection and response, and evasion tactics.
• Familiarity with data security and protection solutions, techniques, and technologies.
• Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMWare, Hyper-V, KVM).
• Proficiency in MS Office365, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, and MS Azure.
• Understanding of Microsoft Office and Azure Licensing Tiers.
• Knowledge of compliance standards such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, HITRUSTSOC2, PCI (PCS-DSS), ISO 27001, FedRAMP, DKIM/DMARC.
