About the position

The Cybersecurity Solutions Consultant at OpenText is responsible for securing technical wins and promoting cybersecurity solutions to partners and customers. This role involves collaborating closely with sales teams to ensure that solutions meet customer requirements, conducting technical demonstrations, and managing the RFP and RFI processes. The consultant will work in a remote environment with some travel to customer sites and events, focusing on driving revenue and enhancing customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Account Executives to communicate and sell the value of OpenText's products and solutions to strategic accounts.
• Develop and conduct technical demonstrations tailored to customer requirements.
• Respond to and manage the RFP and RFI process.
• Build and deliver proof of concepts for customers.
• Assist Account Executives in relationship management and technical sales information/tools development.
• Interact with Sales, Global Services, and Partners to create and finalize solution offerings and initial project delivery plans.
• Represent OpenText at trade shows and industry events.

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in a presales technical role.
• Familiarity with IT data and the cyber threat landscape.
• Expert professional/technical skills in relevant technologies.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Email Administration, DNS, SMTP.
• Understanding of network technologies, topologies, protocols, and administration.
• Proficiency in encryption and data security techniques.
• Experience with threat intelligence, detection and response, and evasion tactics.
• Knowledge of data security and protection solutions, techniques, and technologies.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMWare, Hyper-V, KVM).
• Hands-on experience using MS Office365, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, and MS Azure.
• Understanding of Microsoft Office and Azure Licensing Tiers.
• Familiarity with GDPR & CCPA, HIPAA, HITRUSTSOC2, PCI (PCS-DSS), ISO 27001, FedRAMP, DKIM/DMARC.
