About the position

The Cybersecurity Systems Analyst role at Amentum involves performing assessment and authorization coordination to ensure the integrity of customer systems. The position focuses on advising and assisting with the Risk Management Framework (RMF), developing plans to resolve network deficiencies, and ensuring compliance with various Department of Defense (DoD) regulations. The analyst will work closely with USSOCOM and its components to maintain security standards and manage vulnerabilities in IT systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform assessment and authorization coordination for network compliance.
  • Advise on Risk Management Framework (RMF) and develop Plans of Action and Milestones.
  • Analyze and build accreditation roadmaps for new SIE networks and systems.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for new networks and technologies.
  • Review A&A of SIE networks and systems to obtain necessary authorizations.
  • Provide RMF subject matter expertise to USSOCOM and its Component Commands.
  • Maintain and validate DISN and DIA connection approval packages.
  • Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments for IT and IS accreditation.
  • Assist with enforcement of A&A and connection standards.
  • Track and maintain A&A databases and tools for security documentation.
  • Ensure timely notifications to prevent lapses in accreditations.
  • Develop and maintain an Information Security Continuous Monitoring (ISCM) Plan.
  • Coordinate with various organizations to resolve security and A&A issues.
  • Perform network security authorization and project management support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer or systems science discipline.
  • Eight (8) years of progressive, relevant experience or equivalent education and experience.
  • DOD Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level 2 certification required.
  • Working knowledge of DIACAP and RMF processes.
  • Knowledge of Telos Xacta or eMASS system is desired.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of DOD IA processes and policies.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with the US Combatant Commands (USCENTCOM/USSOCOM) is desired.
  • Knowledge of the DOD Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and Nessus vulnerability scanning tool.
