About the position

Parsons is seeking talented Cyber Security Systems Engineers/Analysts to contribute to cutting-edge cybersecurity projects that significantly impact mission-critical government systems. This role involves leveraging systems engineering and cybersecurity skills to conduct vulnerability assessments and provide critical insights into security solutions.

Responsibilities

• System engineering with a focus on networking and cybersecurity.
• Implement the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
• Review documentation and system design documentation, understanding the System Engineering lifecycle and requirements review.
• Gather information system security requirements and design system architecture.
• Develop and implement security designs, assessing their effectiveness against current and projected threats.
• Analyze, interpret, and evaluate design documentation, producing formal and informal reports on solution specifications or implementations.
• Develop functional, operational, or user requirements, and reference architectures and technical patterns of solution designs.
• Identify system vulnerabilities and potential mitigation protocols or processes.

Requirements

• 2+ years of Cyber Systems Engineering experience.
• Engineering analysis and reporting experience with the DoD/IC.
• Experience with the full system engineering lifecycle, including breaking down systems into components and assessing vulnerabilities.
• Experience gathering and communicating requirements with external customers.
• Familiarity with RMF (NIST 800-53/37) and prioritizing risks/vulnerabilities to DoD Systems.
• Active TS/SCI + Polygraph clearance.
