About the position

The Cybersecurity Technical Professional role focuses on providing engineering design, technology upgrades, integration, operation, and maintenance of software, hardware, and applications within a DevSecOps pipeline infrastructure for a DoD customer in Suffolk, VA. The position requires an active DoD Secret Clearance and involves supporting various cybersecurity and systems administration tasks, ensuring compliance with DoD policies, and enhancing the security and efficiency of information communications.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering design, technology upgrades, integration, operation, and maintenance of software, hardware, and applications within the DevSecOps pipeline infrastructure.
• Support mission-related servers, workstations, data storage, backup/recovery, and software applications.
• Enable a scalable, secure, containerized, and adaptable infrastructure using Agile methodologies.
• Maintain Cybersecurity compliance by updating, patching, and monitoring in accordance with Joint Staff and DoD policies.
• Administer Microsoft Exchange systems, including maintenance, restoration, and troubleshooting.
• Provide Tier III support for Microsoft SharePoint systems, including maintenance and migration of sites.
• Assess and test interoperability of M&S software and applications with C2 and network components.
• Participate in technical working groups to analyze operational parameters for modeling and simulation architecture.

Requirements

• Active DoD Secret Clearance (Minimum)
• High School Diploma (Minimum)
• Current DoDD-8140/8570 certification (Required)
• Five plus (5+) years of recent experience with systems administration, virtualization, cybersecurity, and IA/RMF.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.

Nice-to-haves

• Top Secret or Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• Experience working with the Joint Staff (JS) and COCOMs.
• Experience with Command and Control (C2) system administration and engineering.
