The Cybersecurity Technology Internship role is designed to provide undergraduate students with a comprehensive understanding of the technology business within a large banking institution. Interns will gain insights into the operational aspects of technology, particularly in the context of Consumer and Business Banking. This internship aims to equip students with knowledge about banking functionalities, vendor interactions, and key compliance and regulatory requirements. Interns will have the opportunity to build relationships within the IT and Business sectors, fostering their professional growth throughout the internship period. This 2024 Summer Internship is specifically tailored for undergraduate students who are expected to graduate between December 2025 and May 2026. The internship will be part of the Cybersecurity organization, which is responsible for safeguarding Santander and its customers against cybersecurity threats. Interns will be exposed to various functional areas within cybersecurity, including Access Management, Cyber Operations, Cloud Security, Infrastructure Security, Security Architecture, and Governance, Risk, and Compliance. Located in Quincy, MA, this internship does not offer relocation assistance. Interns will engage in a variety of tasks that will enhance their understanding of cybersecurity and its critical role in the banking sector.
