Starbucks Global Cybersecurity Team is dedicated to safeguarding the company's data and information assets through a multifaceted approach that includes engineering technology solutions, defining business requirements, and publishing standards and guidelines. A critical component of this mission is the training and awareness of partners regarding cybersecurity best practices. The Cybersecurity Training and Awareness Analyst Sr. plays a pivotal role in this initiative by launching comprehensive cybersecurity training programs, monitoring completion rates, and enhancing awareness through effective communication across various channels and programs targeting partners in North America and beyond. In this role, the analyst will design, develop, and deliver security awareness training programs that are tailored to different regions, including EMEA, Japan, China, and Hong Kong, as well as diverse audiences within the organization. This involves collaborating with subject matter experts to create engaging content such as e-learning modules, workshops, and communication materials. The analyst will also be responsible for monitoring the effectiveness of these programs and continuously improving the content based on feedback and emerging cybersecurity threats. Additionally, the analyst will partner with regional teams to customize awareness initiatives, taking into account cultural nuances and language differences. Close collaboration with HR, IT, and compliance teams is essential to integrate security awareness into onboarding processes, ongoing training, and policy communication. The analyst will develop and execute targeted awareness campaigns and events, such as phishing simulations and cybersecurity awareness month activities, while creating compelling content like videos, newsletters, and posters to promote security awareness across the organization. Establishing metrics to measure the impact of awareness programs, such as click-through rates and completion rates, is a key responsibility. The analyst will regularly report on program effectiveness to leadership and adjust strategies as necessary. Staying informed about the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and attack vectors is crucial, as is the ability to translate technical information into accessible content for non-technical audiences. The analyst will work closely with the cybersecurity communications manager to ensure alignment and effectiveness in messaging.
