About the position

ECS is seeking a Cybersecurity User Interface Developer to work remotely. This position is contingent upon contract award. The Cybersecurity Front End and Visualization Developer is driven to solve complex business and cybersecurity problems by creating user interfaces, experiences, and visualizations that simply and efficiently convey complex data and then act on that data. The developer will create front ends for web-based cybersecurity applications. The Developer will need to understand how to gather requirements from users and design efficient, web-based solutions to satisfy user requirements. This will require that the Developer be an expert in web design and programming. The Developer will be a technical expert in React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and associated web technologies, and will be responsible for translating wireframes to code. While technical expertise is required, the ability to work within an organization to accomplish goals is an important part of this role. The Developer will be expected to interface with a wide variety of teams and maintain relationships that enable successful integration of the disparate parts of an Enterprise-class cybersecurity solution. The Developer will work with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Cybersecurity Analysts to ensure that clear cybersecurity problems are being addressed and that the solution effectively addresses the problem.

Responsibilities

• Create user interfaces and visualizations for web-based cybersecurity applications.
• Gather requirements from users and design efficient web-based solutions.
• Translate wireframes into code using React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Interface with various teams to integrate components of cybersecurity solutions.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Cybersecurity Analysts to address cybersecurity problems.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
• 5+ years of relevant industry work experience.
• Able and willing to obtain a US Security Clearance.
• Ability to travel, as needed, to customer sites.
