About the position

The position involves working in the Ace Hardware Distribution Center, focusing on roles such as Order Fillers, Receivers, Shippers, and Stockers. Employees will be responsible for receiving, stocking, order filling, and shipping products while ensuring a safe and productive work environment. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and efficiency in handling various tasks related to inventory management and product distribution.

Responsibilities

• Utilize forklift and/or other power equipment to unload freight and process products using RF Scanner.
• Resupply bins and maintain inventory freight in preparation for order picking while on foot or using a reach lift.
• Select and stage merchandise for transport using a Voice Collect headset while efficiently fulfilling orders via foot or forklift.
• Strategically load products onto outgoing trailers using a forklift or other power equipment.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to stoop, squat, and kneel regularly.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs when needed.
• Desire to work at Ace Hardware and promote a safe workplace.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience operating forklifts or other powered equipment.
• Familiarity with RF scanning technology.
