The Cycle Counter / Warehouse Inventory Analyst position at Doheny's involves leading a cycle count team and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of inventory. The role requires monitoring inventory levels, maintaining product identification, and ensuring that the location and bin accuracy are upheld. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching any discrepancies in inventory and resolving problems in a timely manner. This includes opening cartons, bundles, and other containers to count items or weigh materials to determine the quantity on hand. Additionally, the position requires reporting any discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products, as well as correcting inventory issues in the AS400 system. A basic understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word is preferred, as these tools will be used to perform daily cycle counts and manage inventory data effectively. The work environment is very active, requiring the employee to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, sit, and climb throughout the day. The role also involves frequent lifting and moving of items over 50 pounds, which necessitates a good level of physical fitness and stamina. Attention to detail is crucial in this position to ensure that all inventory counts are accurate and discrepancies are addressed promptly.
