About the position
The Cycle Instructor at CycleBar Tanasbourne is responsible for leading engaging and high-energy indoor cycling classes. This role combines elements of education, motivation, and entertainment to create an inspiring fitness experience for participants of all levels. The instructor will curate playlists, promote classes, and ensure a welcoming environment for new riders, all while embodying the CycleBar brand values of inclusivity and enthusiasm.
Responsibilities
- Create playlists following the 12-song sequence for scheduled classes
- Follow best practices as outlined in the CycleStar Training Manual
- Promote classes on social media at least 3 times per week
- Arrive 30 minutes prior to each class and stay until all studios have left the community room area
- Introduce new riders to the bike and ensure correct adjustments
- Take at least 2 classes a month at the studio with other CycleStars
- Check in on the Facebook CycleStar forum weekly to review new video content
Requirements
- Passion for health, wellness, and fitness
- Ability to pass audition and CycleBar bootcamp to teach
- Friendly, outgoing, and personable demeanor
- Strong communication skills
