About the position

This position is responsible for providing process and project management to Marketing and Commercial Execution as it relates to the development and execution of the cyclical Plans of Action (POA). The role involves partnering with Portfolio, Therapy Area, Brand, and Commercial Execution Leads to create the POA storyline and lead various POA core teams. Additionally, the position provides ad hoc support to the Cycle Planning & Operations Lead in areas such as NOVO CONNECT platform management and development, special project support, and other department-related activities. The individual in this role will serve as the primary point of contact for the organization regarding POA cycle strategy and content requirements, addressing related requests, questions, and inquiries. They will lead the POA core team and act as the on-site contact for all Pre-POA and POA meetings, managing production, logistics, vendors, and POA materials. The position requires leading POA cycle planning to ensure alignment of Marketing with Commercial Execution objectives, developing departmental deadlines and roadmaps, and coordinating training requirements. Furthermore, the role involves creating and maintaining the POA/Launch Playbook, activity trackers, and POA development calendars, as well as developing strategic partnerships with each channel to facilitate successful POA cycles and meetings. The individual will work closely with Portfolio/Therapy Area partners to create the POA storyline and ensure alignment with marketing milestones. They will also coordinate the development of POA Pre-Work, manage the gathering of supporting documents, and make proactive recommendations for process improvements. This position is integral to presenting solid POA Cycle and Pathway/Launch plans to management and providing updates to various leadership teams as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Provide process and project management for Marketing and Commercial Execution related to the development and execution of cyclical Plans of Action (POA).
  • Partner with Portfolio/Therapy Area/Brand and Commercial Execution Leads to create the POA storyline and lead various POA core teams.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for POA cycle strategy and content requirements, addressing related requests and inquiries.
  • Lead the POA core team and act as the on-site contact for all Pre-POA and POA meetings, managing production, logistics, and vendors.
  • Ensure alignment of Marketing with Commercial Execution objectives through effective POA cycle planning.
  • Develop departmental deadlines and roadmaps, coordinating training requirements and scheduling review meetings.
  • Create, refine, and maintain POA/Launch Playbook, activity trackers, and POA development calendars.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with each channel to facilitate successful POA cycles and meetings.
  • Coordinate the development of POA Pre-Work, including requirements gathering and PRB submissions.
  • Make proactive recommendations for POA planning and related items, driving process improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree, and/or a PharmD from an accredited college/university.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years' experience in tradeshow/event planning, project management, sales, and/or product management/marketing.
  • Demonstrated computer skills with an intermediate understanding of technology development processes.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical marketing department functions and processes.
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience working with public relations and advertising agency vendors preferred.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple projects/processes simultaneously.
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently across departments.
