About the position
The Cylinder Technician/Driver at SPL is responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of sample cylinders used in laboratory testing, as well as picking up client samples in the assigned area. This role is essential for ensuring that the laboratory operates efficiently and maintains high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain client sample cylinders.
- Maintain neat and accurate records.
- Pick up client samples from client sites in and around the assigned area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must have and maintain a clean driving record.
- Driver safety training.
- Chemical plant safety training.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred; 2 years of experience in lieu of education.
