About the position
The Cytotechnologist position involves performing professional and technical tasks under the supervision of lab management. Responsibilities
- Perform staining, mounting, and studying of cells.
- Examine specimens and execute a variety of tests.
- Analyze findings and report results to the pathologist.
- Maintain accurate documentation of laboratory tests.
- Support the provision of individualized multidisciplinary care plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in biological science with one year internship.
- Successful completion of the American Society of Clinical Pathologist medical technology certificate examination or qualifications as Clinical Laboratory Scientist under CLIA standards.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of the English language, both verbal and written.
- Strong knowledge of histology testing and reporting procedures.
