About the position

ASML is a leading manufacturer of lithography systems, playing a crucial role in the advancement of semiconductor technology. The position of System Performance Technical Project Manager is pivotal in overseeing the development of E-beam Inspection equipment for semiconductor applications. This role requires a project leader who is accountable for managing engineering and technical disciplines throughout the tool development process. The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling, planning, forecasting, and managing all technical activities to ensure project accuracy and quality from conception to completion. This position also involves acting as a bridge between customers and design engineers, providing solutions that align with customer targets, and supporting field service engineers with knowledge transfer. The role demands a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, requiring the ability to prioritize tasks effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. The project manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring that all deliverables meet the required specifications and timelines. The position may require access to controlled technology, and candidates must be legally authorized to access such technology prior to beginning work. Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of E-beam Inspection equipment for semiconductor applications.
  • Schedule, plan, forecast, and manage all technical activities related to tool development.
  • Ensure project accuracy and quality from conception to completion.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and design engineers to provide solutions that meet customer targets.
  • Support field service engineers with knowledge transfer and technical assistance.
  • Manage cross-functional teams to deliver project objectives on time and within scope.
  • Identify bottlenecks in project processes and drive improvements.

Requirements

  • M.S. or higher in engineering or related fields with at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in hardware/software development, eBeam Defect Inspection, or Metrology.
  • Experience in managing or defining requirements for complex equipment hardware or application products.
  • Proven track record in product/project management with successful leadership of cross-functional teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in customer interaction and understanding customer needs.
  • Familiarity with release test lifecycle/process.
  • Ability to learn and apply new information or skills quickly.
