About the position
As a Caregiver at Sevita, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Responsibilities
- Help individuals grow, learn, and live well through supportive care.
- Develop meaningful relationships with the individuals served.
- Take initiative to encourage community participation and favorite activities.
- Assist participants with personal hygiene and daily living skills.
- Support individuals in achieving developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
- Strong communication skills and adaptability.
- Ability to multi-task and work as part of a team.
- Effective time-management skills.
