About the position

The Material Handler position at Kraft Heinz in Winchester is responsible for the timely and accurate receipt of materials ordered through SAP. This role is crucial for maintaining operational efficiency and requires strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. The position reports to the Materials Manager and plays a significant role in ensuring compliance with company standards and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Receiving primary, secondary, and raw materials into SAP that deliver into the plant or contracted warehouses.
• Maintaining accurate shipping paperwork, Certificate of Analysis, driver information, and other receiving information in line with Kraft Heinz standards.
• Handling discrepancies that may arise during the receiving process.
• Maintaining Employee Food Safety Awareness.
• Flexibility to work all hours and weekends as necessary.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Understanding of batch run materials and accurate paperwork maintenance.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), HACCP, USDA regulations, and safety protocols.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with SAP or similar inventory management systems.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
