About the position

As a D&T Product Manager at CBRE, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the balance between business needs, technology options, and user experience is maintained to maximize product value and enhance efficiency. Your primary responsibility will be to act as the "voice" of the customer, translating their needs into actionable tasks for the Agile team. This involves properly codifying intent, sizing work efforts, prioritizing needs, and summarizing issues to ensure that the product development aligns with customer expectations and business objectives. In this role, you will develop and communicate a comprehensive vision and product roadmap, articulating both short-term and long-term strategies that align with the business value chain and overall business strategy. You will collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and business professionals to build strategic product roadmaps, drawing upon customer insights to drive the software product vision and direction. Your leadership will be crucial in identifying and defining ongoing product features that align with the business strategy, ensuring that the technical teams can deliver effective software solutions. You will manage the everyday execution of product delivery, focusing on building a data-backed digital advantage. Staying updated on industry trends and anticipating future market needs will be essential, as will collaborating with Data and Data Science teams to drive product embedded analytics and insights. You will lead product delivery collaboration across various teams, partner on user onboarding, change management, and ensure continued product satisfaction. Your responsibilities will also include running governance forums, managing product budgets, and overseeing overall team performance. You will prioritize results, lead the product backlog, facilitate discussions, and ensure that user stories and cases are developed and refined effectively. Regular updates and communication with executive partners will be part of your role, as will acting as a single point of contact for ongoing support and services. You will engage in Agile processes, including daily scrums, demos, and testing activities, and lead changes to features and communication for each release. Additionally, you will assist in breaking down Epics into manageable sizes for release cadence and develop a team of successful product owners throughout the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of proven experience in a relevant sector, preferably in private equity firms or financial services organizations.
  • Experience in digital product teams adhering to industry recognized frameworks.
  • University level education in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Technical and business knowledge in multiple teams/processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to present information optimally to senior team members and groups.
  • Ability to research, comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents accurately.
  • Advanced analytical and quantitative skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in commercial property management.
