About the position

The Marketing and Communication Manager at River Edge Behavioral Health is responsible for coordinating marketing and communications efforts across various channels to enhance the organization's brand visibility and raise awareness of its programs and services. This role operates independently and reports to a C-level executive, focusing on developing and executing an integrated communication strategy that supports the mission of delivering state-of-the-art treatment and support services to individuals in need.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate marketing and communications efforts for the organization and its affiliates across all applicable channels.
  • Develop an annual communications and marketing plan to boost REBH's brand visibility.
  • Publish timely press releases on all social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Create printed materials such as flyers, brochures, event programs, banners, newsletters, and annual reports.
  • Manage ad placements and oversee social media campaigns.
  • Manage the River Edge website and ensure consistent updates of public relations materials.
  • Write and edit press releases, articles, media statements, and related materials to support a cohesive communications strategy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and interact regularly with department heads, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate project management skills to execute campaigns effectively and assist with special events as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, graphic design, public relations, or a related field from an accredited college.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience leading, directing, and managing communication and marketing responsibilities across a business.
  • Experience with multiple desktop publishing software such as Canva, MS Publisher, Adobe InDesign, or similar tools.
  • Five years of experience in creating targeted content and enhancing brand visibility and reputation.
  • Five years of experience developing strategic, comprehensive communication plans and measuring their effectiveness.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
