About the position

PepsiCo is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Sr. Operations Analyst to join the award-winning in-house agency team, known as D3, which supports the PepsiCo Foods North America business. This role can be based in Plano, TX, Chicago, IL, or New York. The D3 team is a full-service creative agency that works on iconic brands such as Lay's, Doritos, Tostitos, Smartfood, Cap'n Crunch, and Quaker. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, innovative marketing environment and will focus on improving creative output through productivity and efficiencies. The Sr. Operations Analyst will act as a trusted adviser within the Operations organization and across various departments, driving engagement and thought leadership in a highly matrixed environment. The responsibilities of the Sr. Operations Analyst include driving the D3 scope development and reconciliation process to support operations and account teams, as well as supporting analytical workstreams. The candidate will be expected to identify and deconstruct business issues, developing strategic, analytical, and financial frameworks to conduct analyses and solve critical business issues with minimal oversight. Additionally, the role involves managing In-House Statements of Work (SOWs) in partnership with account team leads and employing a solution-oriented mindset to address PepsiCo's most challenging business-critical topics. The Sr. Operations Analyst will also oversee the updating and continual development of the D3 onboarding deck and all process documents, support the development and scaling of programs that drive strategic priorities, and promote thought leadership for new ideas and operational initiatives. This includes driving continuous improvements in the delivery of operations, managing vendor performance reviews, and ensuring compliance with service agreements. Strong project management skills are essential, as the candidate will support key stakeholders and cross-functional partners throughout the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Drive D3 scope development & reconciliation process to support operations and account team.
  • Support analytical workstreams.
  • Identify, deconstruct business issues, and develop strategic, analytical, and financial frameworks to conduct analyses and solve critical business issues with minimal oversight from functional leaders.
  • Support development and management of In-House SOWs through Decideware in partnership with the Account team leads.
  • Employ solution-oriented mindset to help solve an array of PepsiCo's most challenging, business critical topics working closely with our PFUS Operations team and cross function partners in Finance, Legal and Marketing.
  • Translate business problems into structured projects to lead end-to-end delivery against key objectives, from hypothesis development to final materials.
  • Oversee the updating and continual development of the D3 onboarding deck and all process documents.
  • Support development, scaling and maintenance of programs that drive strategic priorities from ideation to implementation, primarily through strong program management principles and hand-off to team leadership.
  • Key contributor in promoting thought leadership for new ideas and ways of executing operational initiatives and drive continuous improvements in the delivery of operations.
  • Scope, drive, and ensure continuous improvement of vendor managed services as appropriate, reducing compliance risk while maintaining business velocity and flexibility.
  • Onboarding, Scope development, PO issuance & tracking.
  • Vendor performance review and KPIs development to guiding resource allocation at a PFUS level.
  • Direct engagement with PepsiCo/D3 Legal to execute service agreement process and compliance for engagements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of four (4) to six (6) years in operations and/or experience in a closely related field.
  • Agency experience is a plus.
  • Scope of work and/or Budget management is a plus.
  • Background working across a portfolio of brands and/or functions.
  • Proven success collaborating within a complex corporate matrix.

Nice-to-haves

  • Subject matter expertise in two or more of the following areas: Agency Operations, Production, Marketing Technology; Digital Asset Management systems and administration, Vendor Contracts and purchasing specific to marketing activities, Publishing (Traditional or Digital).
