About the position

The Grocery Clerk Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing, training, and directing grocery clerks while performing production and customer service functions. Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, train, and direct Grocery Clerks.
• Perform production and customer service functions.
• Maximize store sales and profits.
• Model and demonstrate the company's core values.
• Organize work and schedule associates for prompt service.
• Respond to customer and associate comments and complaints.
• Manage ordering of merchandise and supplies using Computer Assisted Ordering.
• Direct pricing and displaying of merchandise.
• Maintain proper signage, product rotation, and quality of merchandise.
• Engage and counsel associates in merchandising techniques and customer service.
• Implement company programs and adhere to policies and procedures.
• Provide input on department budgets and goals.
• Supervise and coach direct reports, completing performance reviews.
