This role requires collaboration with a Nutritionist to optimize cow nutrition and health, as well as managing the procurement and distribution of essential dairy supplies. The position demands strong leadership and communication skills to foster a cohesive work environment and maintain high standards of dairy production.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all departments and staff members on the dairy farm.
• Collaborate with the Nutritionist to optimize cow nutrition and health.
• Manage the procurement and distribution of feed and other essential dairy supplies.
• Foster a collaborative and cohesive work environment among staff.
• Ensure all tasks are carried out efficiently and effectively to maintain high standards of dairy production.

Requirements

• Exceptional communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead a team.
• Experience with EZ Feed and knowledge of milk procedures.
• Strong herd health knowledge.
• Strong Parlor experience.
• Supervisory experience.
• Previous experience managing a dairy is a plus.
• Desire to be part of a team and help lead it successfully.
• Spanish speaking abilities.
