About the position

The Shift Leader at Dairy Queen is responsible for creating positive experiences for customers and team members. This role involves assisting the General Manager and Assistant Managers in managing restaurant operations during scheduled shifts, ensuring high standards of service and quality are met.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager and Assistant Managers in executing restaurant operations during scheduled shifts.
• Perform all job functions of crew positions, including customer service, product preparation, cash accountability, and food preparation.
• Strive for operational levels that meet or exceed customer expectations in quality, service, and atmosphere.
• Manage specific areas of the restaurant during scheduled shifts.
• Complete designated duties such as inventory control, product ordering, and cash control accurately.
• Ensure that all PRIDE systems and routines are integrated into daily operations.

Requirements

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to create a positive environment.
• Experience in food service or restaurant management is preferred.
