About the position
Dal-Tile, a part of Mohawk Industries, is seeking dedicated Delivery Drivers to join our team. Since 1947, Dal-Tile has been a leader in providing a wide range of tile and stone products for both residential and commercial customers. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in our operations, ensuring that our high-quality flooring products reach our customers in a timely and efficient manner. This position offers a consistent work schedule, allowing you to enjoy predictable home time, which is a significant advantage for our drivers. In this role, you will be responsible for loading and unloading products using forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring that all deliveries are handled safely and efficiently. You will work Monday through Friday, primarily during the first shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, depending on delivery schedules. Our drivers are essential to the success of our operations, assisting in both warehouse and distribution center activities, as well as delivering palletized hard-surface flooring products, stone, and accessories to various locations including Dal-Tile Sales Service Centers and job sites. Responsibilities
- Load and unload products using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Deliver palletized hard-surface flooring products, stone, and accessories to various locations.
- Assist with operations inside warehouses and distribution centers.
- Ensure safe and efficient handling of products during deliveries.
Requirements
- Be at least 23 years old.
- Possess a Class A commercial driver's license (CDL).
- Have a minimum of 6 months commercial driving experience.
- Have good interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
- Be able to maneuver heavy products using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Be willing to work a flexible schedule.
