About the position

The Academy of the Arts is seeking energetic dance instructors to teach various styles of dance, including tap, ballet, pointe, jazz, modern/contemporary, hip hop, and acrobatic dance. The role involves working with students of all ages in a family-oriented environment, contributing to both recreational and competitive dance programs. The position is available for both substitutes and permanent instructors.

Responsibilities

• Teach various styles of dance including tap, ballet, pointe, jazz, modern/contemporary, hip hop, and acrobatic dance.
• Engage with students of all ages in a family-oriented environment.

Requirements

• Experience in dance instruction is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of teaching experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
