Dance Instructor (BALLROOM or LATIN dance teacher)

About the position

The Dance Instructor position at Arthur Murray Dance Center involves training individuals to become full-time instructors in Latin and Ballroom dance styles. The role is designed for those with strong people skills, regardless of prior dance experience, and includes a comprehensive paid training program to learn various dance styles such as Tango, Swing, Salsa, and Samba. The position offers both part-time and full-time opportunities, with a focus on creating a fun and engaging environment for both instructors and students.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a comprehensive training program to learn various dance styles.
• Teach Latin and Ballroom dance to students of all skill levels.
• Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for students.
• Engage with students to enhance their learning experience and encourage participation in dance classes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in teaching or customer service is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a customer-facing role such as a restaurant host, personal trainer, or public speaker.
