About the position

As a Data Procurement Analyst at RoofClaim.com, you will play a crucial role in managing both internal and external data to support the company's strategic goals. Your primary responsibilities will include reviewing and analyzing current data strategies, creating more efficient data-driven best practices, and collaborating with various teams to develop innovative solutions that utilize advanced analytics tools. In this role, you will be responsible for mining and analyzing data from various internal and external sources, which will support the company's goals and objectives. You will work closely with stakeholders to develop innovative solutions that leverage data and advanced analytics tools to address sales and operational challenges. Your ability to use data sets and models to test the effectiveness of different tactics through predictive algorithms will be essential. Additionally, you will be tasked with effectively communicating data insights to stakeholders, ensuring that the information is accessible and actionable. You will also actively participate in training and data adoption activities, helping to foster a data-driven culture within the organization. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and strong communication skills, as you will need to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in various formats, including oral, written, and visual presentations. Overall, your contributions will be vital in driving the company's data strategy forward and ensuring that data is utilized effectively across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing internal data and procuring external data.
• Review and analyze current data strategies and management to create more efficient data-driven best practices.
• Mine and analyze data from various internal and external data sources in support of company goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop innovative solutions leveraging data and advanced analytics tools to solve sales and operational problems.
• Use data sets and models to test the effectiveness of different tactics of action using predictive algorithms.
• Effectively communicate data insights with stakeholders.
• Direct and participate in training and data adoption activities.
• Perform related responsibilities as required.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a business or data analyst in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Math, Computer Science, or another quantitative field.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Knowledge of real-world application of machine learning techniques and/or statistical theory and methods.
• Independent research capabilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• 2+ years of experience procuring data sets from external sources.
• Ability to evaluate current data procedures and develop enhancements.
• Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with advanced data analytics tools and software.
• Knowledge of data visualization techniques and tools.
