About the position

The Data Analyst will be responsible for utilizing Alteryx, Tableau, and SQL to analyze complex financial data and deliver actionable insights. This role requires strong technical skills in data analysis and experience working in high-pressure environments such as top-tier banks or hedge funds. The candidate will work onsite 5 days a week in Miami, focusing on improving decision-making processes through data analysis and visualization.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data from multiple sources using Alteryx, Tableau, and SQL.
• Develop and maintain automated data workflows and reports to improve decision-making processes.
• Create detailed data visualizations and dashboards to present insights to stakeholders.
• Work closely with teams in banking or hedge fund environments to ensure data accuracy and provide recommendations.
• Collaborate with business teams to identify opportunities for process improvements through data analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience working in data analysis roles within a top-tier bank or hedge fund.
• Strong expertise in Alteryx for workflow automation and Tableau for creating insightful dashboards.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying large datasets and database management.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Experience with financial data and the ability to provide actionable business insights.
