About the position

Doximity is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team, either in our San Francisco headquarters or remotely within the U.S. This role is pivotal in transforming the healthcare industry by leveraging data insights to enhance productivity and care quality for physicians. As part of a cross-functional delivery team, you will collaborate with analysts, engineers, and commercial stakeholders to create impactful client-facing analyses. Your engineering skills will be put to the test as you develop data products from scratch and automate processes for reuse by your teammates. Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Strategic Analytics, Client Success, and Sales teams to create client-facing analyses.
  • Develop data products from scratch and automate code for reuse by teammates.
  • Leverage extensive datasets to identify and classify behavioral patterns of medical professionals.
  • Grow into a presentation/communication-focused role or tackle more technical challenges as desired.

Requirements

  • Three (3) years of experience in a relevant field demonstrating core values of collaboration, passion for data, reliability, curiosity, and respect.
  • Excellent SQL skills with proven ability to create and evaluate complex SQL statements involving numerous tables and complex relationships.
  • Fluency in Python and experience using common modules such as numpy, pandas, statsmodels, and matplotlib for exploratory data analysis (EDA).

Nice-to-haves

  • Working knowledge of statistics and visualization techniques.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Looker.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Experience presenting data to a non-technical audience.
