About the position

The Data Analyst position at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) is located within the Office of Equal Employment Opportunity (OEEO). This role is responsible for managing enterprise-wide Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) data management and analytics, utilizing advanced techniques in data analysis, including artificial intelligence and machine learning. The position requires the ability to derive insights from complex data sources and present findings to various stakeholders, including senior management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage complex data analysis assignments using human capital data science techniques.
  • Utilize AI/ML techniques for data visualizations and analyses.
  • Derive insights from large and complex data sources, including structured and unstructured data.
  • Develop and implement AI/ML analytical tools and data pipelines using SDLC methodologies.
  • Present analytical results to technical and non-technical audiences, including senior management.

Requirements

  • At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the CG-13 grade level in the Federal service.
  • Experience in designing data visualizations through graphics and charts.
  • Experience in developing machine learning/artificial intelligence (AI/ML) models.
  • Experience in conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with statistical software and programming languages.
  • Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
  • Ability to communicate complex data findings effectively.
