About the position

The Data Analyst in the Data Services Team at Kaleida Health is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing complex database reports, dashboards, and interactive portals for end-user data consumption. This role involves gathering and interpreting user requests to create effective data solutions, ensuring that the data needs of the organization are met efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement large and complex database reports and dashboards.
• Maintain and optimize interactive end-user portals for data consumption.
• Gather and interpret end-user requests to create data solutions.
• Utilize analytics tools to analyze data and generate insights.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field required.
• Master's degree in Data Science preferred.
• 3 years of experience with analytics tools such as R and Python required.
• 3 years of experience in Structured Query Language (SQL) required.
• 5 years of experience with healthcare coding standards (ICD10, CPT, etc.) preferred.
• 2 years of experience with presentation tools (Tableau, Power BI) preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Informatica Powercenter preferred.
• Familiarity with Cerner HealtheIntent platform and EHR Millennium platform preferred.
