The Enterprise Solutions Engineer II - Data Analyst position plays a crucial role in generating meaningful insights and analysis that can help solve business problems and challenges to further the MSF mission in supporting our customers. This position is responsible for designing models, utilizing scientific analysis, and predictive modeling to support project or business needs. The Data Analyst will engage in moderate to complex data and statistical analysis to help understand business insights and solve business problems. This includes storing, retrieving, and manipulating data for analysis of capabilities and requirements, generating useful and actionable business insights, and developing and maintaining dashboards. The role also involves analyzing, designing, and developing artifacts according to best practices, standards, and specifications. Additionally, the Data Analyst will analyze existing systems for improvements and evaluate proposed systems for feasibility, providing systems analysis, user support, and developing program specifications and reusable components for specific business applications. In terms of technical solutioning, the Data Analyst will provide technical solutions for insurance products or data applications, defining, analyzing, and creating solutions for projects utilizing various development methodologies. The role requires identifying issues and risks, escalating and reporting them to appropriate levels of stakeholders. The Data Analyst will also provide leadership on small to medium projects that span onsite and remote business and technical teams, analyze requirements for feasibility and users' needs, and design, develop, debug, and unit test using MSF technologies for commercial business applications. Moreover, the Data Analyst will prepare business documentation, conduct user training, custom design specific programs for enterprise and user needs, perform extensive functional testing, ongoing maintenance, and execute production failure troubleshooting. Collaboration with other solution design engineers, architects, and cross-functional IT professionals is essential to design tools and enhancements and write code to fulfill enterprise objectives and needs. The Data Analyst will liaise with business stakeholders on project status, proposals, and technical issues, prepare reports or correspondence concerning project specifications, activities, or status, and complete special projects as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Complete moderate to complex data and statistical analysis to help understand business insights and solve business problems.
  • Store, retrieve, and manipulate data for analysis of capabilities and requirements, generating useful and actionable business insights.

Requirements

  • Associate or technical degree AND three (3) years' experience of Data Analysis/ Business intelligence or a combination of education and experience.
