About the position

The Data Analyst position is a critical role within a telecommunications client, focusing on collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify data needs and develop self-serve dashboards. The analyst will engage in research, testing, and validation of data from various sources to answer business questions, while also writing complex SQL queries and automating processes using Python to enhance data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders across the organization to identify data needs and develop self-serve dashboards.
• Research, hypothesize, test, and validate data from various sources to answer business questions.
• Write complex SQL queries that utilize multiple tables for reporting purposes.
• Develop and maintain automated processes using Python to streamline data analysis and reporting.
• Use data analysis techniques to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data sets.
• Ensure data quality and accuracy through data validation and testing.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis and identify opportunities to improve existing processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Data Analyst experience at an enterprise level.
• 5+ years of experience with SQL, including creating and developing SQL queries from scratch based on business needs.
• Proficiency in Tableau for data visualization.
• Ability to operate independently and be proactive.
