About the position

The Data Analyst II position in the Treasury Department at ALSAC focuses on developing strategies to monitor, identify, mitigate, and report fraudulent activities within ALSAC's omni-channel revenue operations. The role requires a strong understanding of data analytics, SQL, and dashboard development to support revenue operations and ensure compliance with various regulatory bodies. The analyst will play a crucial role in protecting the brand and financial integrity of ALSAC while contributing to the mission of curing childhood cancer.

Responsibilities

• Perform data analytics of ALSAC's transactions and transaction sources to monitor and reduce fraudulent events.
• Support the solution development and resolution of transaction reconciliation challenges using SQL, Python, and data visitation tools.
• Gather, analyze, and interpret data to create recurring fraud risk reports for management and stakeholders.
• Develop dashboards and implement KPIs to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory bodies.
• Responsible for financial systems access reporting, auditing, and access approvals.
• Create and maintain reports and dashboards for informed decision-making and data analysis.
• Support ad hoc analysis and dashboard reporting for ALSAC Treasury.
• Provide support and guidance to business leadership on industry fraud breach trends and performance.
• Collaborate with InfoSec, Legal, and IT to support risk mitigation and financial stewardship.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Data Analytics, or Computer Science.
• 5-8 years of experience in data analytics.
• Experience with SQL, BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI, and Excel.
• High volume transaction and finance experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and allocate resources effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
