The analyst will be responsible for translating business requirements into technical specifications, generating reports, and identifying areas for process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Elicit and document business requirements.
• Translate business requirements to technical requirements.
• Produce actionable dashboards in Power BI and/or Tableau that show key performance indicators.
• Respond to ad-hoc requests and provide reporting solutions across multiple business areas.
• Create and maintain specifications for reports and analyses based on business needs and required or available data elements.
• Generate ad hoc reports or data extracts, dashboards, canned reports, and regular datasets for end-users using system tools, queries, and scripts.
• Integrate data from multiple sources to produce requested or required data elements.
• Identify areas of improvement in data collection processes or systems and make recommendations to correct any deficiencies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diverse professional work experience in data visualization and data analysis.
• Proficient in SQL including complex SQL joins and inline tables.
• Experience with advanced calculations in Tableau.
• Demonstrated experience in analytical, problem solving, critical thinking, operational excellence, communication (written and verbal), stakeholder management, interpersonal, and self-management skills.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure with an emphasis on serverless architecture.
