About the position

The Data Analyst position at WAHVE offers experienced insurance professionals the opportunity to work remotely while utilizing their expertise in data analysis. This role focuses on building and maintaining data warehouses, generating reports, and supporting internal users, all while providing a flexible work schedule that promotes work-life balance.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data warehouse, new reports, and ad hoc reports.
• Work with user groups to identify reporting issues/enhancements and document business requirements.
• Serve as a member of a project team and/or work independently on projects.
• Support and train internal users as needed.
• Compile and prepare data for customer analysis.

Requirements

• 25 years of full-time work experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
• Experience working in a data analysis role in the insurance or financial services industry.
• Proficiency in C#, Visual Studio, JavaScript, CSS, and current web technologies such as .NET, ASP, JSON, and XML.
• Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SSIS Reporting, Power BI, Dynamics CRM, Dynamics GP, SharePoint, Excel, Power Query, Power Pivot.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience compiling data results and authoring commentary on industry studies.
• Current high demand for property CAT and AIR Catastrophe modeling skills.
