About the position

The Data Analyst Intern will support the Manufacturing Operations organization by developing and managing data and analytical requests. This role focuses on utilizing data mining and business intelligence tools to create reports that assist in business decision-making and are scalable for future needs. The intern will engage in analyzing and troubleshooting large datasets while gaining insights into the end user's business processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support data and analytical requests for the Manufacturing Operations organization.
• Create and maintain reports, queries, and solutions that utilize available data and tools.
• Deliver scalable solutions that anticipate future needs.
• Define and execute robust testing of provided solutions.
• Ensure documentation is complete and kept current.
• Identify, categorize, and organize reports to facilitate use.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Data Science, or a similar field.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with G-Suite (G-mail, Google Sheets, Google Docs, etc.).
• Technically adept and highly adaptable with the ability to learn rapidly.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Domo, IBM Cognos, SAP Business Objects, or similar BI tool.
• Experience in data manipulation and visualization tools such as R and Python.
